Washington Heights & Pupusas


Today I was over in Washington Heights(WH) in uptown Manhattan looking for great pupusas, and we found them! BTW, if you wanna learn more about WH check out this link, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington_Heights,_Manhattan.

The Pupusa’s place is called El Guanaco located on 4195 Broadway(Bet. 178th and 179th street) in upper Manhattan. Pupusas is a typical delicious dish originally made from El Salvador; check out this site to learn more about it, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pupusas. Mr. Benjamin and his staff will welcome you and offer you the most hospitable and customer services to delight your taste buds with the best Salvadorean cuisine.They are very popular in other Central American countries like Nicaragua and Honduras, but the best are made by the Salvadoreans, and you don't have to take my word for it-- try it out yourself!

I highly recommend El Guanaco for Pupusas if you ever in the neighborhood and crave some — simply delicioso!
